| The last stop on our trip was to Crate lake N.P. They closed 3/4 of the road around the lake to cars and just let bikes on it. We road the 27 miles around the lake on a beautiful day. |

| For three days there wasn't a breath of wind on Whidbey Island, fortunately on the last afternoon the wind picked up and we got to take a sail on the sailboat - a first for both of us. Thanks Scott and Janice. |

| Jolie and I spend the month of September in Oregon and Washington. The first part of our trip was a seven day backpack in Mt Rainer N.P. This is our first view of the mountain. |

| We started the trip at Sunrise - the first day of the trip was foggy and chilly, but the weather the rest of the trip was great. This is our first view of one of the glaciers (Winthrop) - yes that is a glacier it just has a lot of dirt and rocks on it. |

| Me and Erika went down to the Tetons for a weekend. We started our trip having breakfast in front of the Tetons on the Wyoming side |

| Jolie and I did a 5 day backpack trip in Yellowstone from Golden Gate to Fawn Pass trailhead. We also took a day long side trip to Electric Peak shown above - we made it close to the top but it was so windy (and my fear of climbing) that we didn't quite make it. This picture was taken on the first day just before we made a wrong turn and had to hike an extra 6 miles to our first camp (made a short day a loooooong day!) |

| On our hike out from Sportsmans Lake we found a ton of strawberries - we could have picked them all day. They are small but so sweet and tasty |

| On the fourth day we saw some recent bear prints in the dirt, and then we came across this!! Looks like grizzly marks, but the sap was dry so we knew he hadn't been sharpening his claws to recently. |
