| Jolie and I paddled up Gates of the Mountains and then hiked cross country to Willow Mtn (at least we thought we had made it to Willow Mtn for a few minutes till we realized it was a bit further away, oh well, there is always next time). Beautiful spring day with lots of wildflowers ... and ticks - sorry no pics of the flowers or tick. This is view from the top with Hauser Lake in the background. |

| Aidan completed his high school running career in the 3,200 meter run at the state track meet. He finished in 9:06.91 which was his best time by 15 seconds and broke the Montana state record by about 6 seconds. He finished second to the other runner who beat the state record by about 9 seconds. (photo suppplied) |

| Jolie and I spent several days in Glacier NP. We were able to ride to Logan Pass on Going to the Sun Road for second straight year. Ride up was nice and sunny, but the ride down had a bit of rain in it. |

| Jolie and I spent a week in the Needles section of Canyonlands National Park. This is one of the narrow sections of the Chesler Park trail called the "joint" - nothing to do with pot - just a geologic term for a crack in the rock |

| After Christmas Jolie, I and Polgara spent several days at the East Fork bitteroot cabin to ski. On our drive down, this was a view we had of the moon setting over the Big Hole Mountains |
